This article describes how to integrate a given Scopa Domain with an existing Google Analytics Property. The steps to get this set up are as follows:
- Find Your Property ID
- Sign in with Google
First login to the Scopa web app, go to the bottom left and select the “settings” icon, and at the top navigation bar, select “Integrations” then hit “Configure” for the Google Analytics integration.
1. Find Your Property ID
Log into Google Analytics. From your Google Analytics dashboard, click the gear symbol in the bottom left corner that says “Admin”.
In the middle column for Property, select “Property Settings”. The Property ID will be on the right hand side with a copy to clipboard icon.
Copy this into the “Property ID” field in the Scopa web app.
2. Get Your Authorization Code
In the Scopa web app, click the “Sign in with Google” button and select the account that has edit access to the Google Analytics Property you wish to link.
Give Scopa access by hitting continue through the Google prompts. Your authorization code will automatically generate.
Click the blue “Connect” button and you’re all set.
